The Metallurgical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held the International Process Metallurgy Conference (IPMC) at the East Hall of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Jalan Ganesha Number 10, Bandung City, West Java. This event is a transformation of Indonesia Process Metallurgy (IPM). IPMC 2023 was held for three days, from Tuesday, September 12, 2023 to Thursday, September 14, 2023. The series of discussions held are expected to strengthen networks and synergies between industry practitioners, academics, researchers, and policy makers involved in the metallurgical industry. The grand theme of this conference will be “Progress in Process Metallurgy Towards Sustainability: Resource Conservation, Process Optimization, and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation”.

IPMC 2023 was attended by 442 participants from 54 different institutions around the world. A total of 48 papers have been submitted by participants from various parts of the world, and these papers will be published in E3S Web of Conferences indexed in SCOPUS, ProQuest, CAS, Web of Science, DOAJm EBSCO, Ei Compendex, Google Scholar, etc.
