The Metallurgical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) held the Indonesia Battery Forum as a response to the growing global demand for batteries and electric vehicles, which in turn grows the demand for the so-called battery metals. The forum aims to support Indonesia’s position as a global hub for these activities by bringing together researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and investors to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities in the battery metals sector. It seeks to advance the growth and development of this critical industry in Indonesia and beyond. This event is divided into three sessions, namely the Plenary Session, Panel Discussion 1 which is filled by practitioners and governments, and Panel Discussion 2 which is filled by researchers.
