Dr Stuart Nicol, ISASMELT™ Senior Metallurgist, has delivered guest lecture at the Metallurgical Engineering Department at Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia.

Dr Nicol presented a lecture on “An Introduction to ISASMELT™ technology and Recycling of Base Metals”. A potential flowsheet for integration of ISASMELT™ with a primary copper smelter was presented. Proposed flowsheet for Cu-scrap processing using ISASMELT™ was discussed. Several advantageous of ISASMELT™ compared to other smelting technologies were highlighted.
